Bill Leger, who in the late 1980s and early 1990 anchored and reported for KATC TV-3, died last night in a car crash on LA 93 north of Scott.  He was 48.  According to KFDM-TV--the Beaumont station Leger worked at for the last 18 years--Leger's car flipped after he overcorrected in a curve...

At least one Lafayette resident believes this is the same truck that she encountered about two months ago. The man driving the truck offered her a ride and allegedly offered money in exchange for sex.

Could there be more flooding rains in our immediate future? The National Weather Service has posted Flash Flood Watches for most of the 97.3 The Dawg listening area until at least Saturday.

Rain chances will be increasing especially after midnight tonight and will continue until at least Tuesday morning. Right now the greatest threat of severe weather appears to be to the north of our area. We could still experience very strong thunderstorms, high winds and perhaps even more flooding rains.
