Little Jimmy Dickens, one of the Grand Ole Opry's most recognizable stars since he became a member in 1948, will continue to miss shows as he undergoes radiation treatments on his vocal cords. A release from the Opry says the treatments are for a pre-cancerous condition.

Country Music has always been famous for putting out little ditties, and I think my own personal favorite would have to be Country Music Hall of Fame member Little Jimmy Dickens' "May The Bird Of Paradise Fly Up Your Nose"....they don't make 'em like that anymore!
