It seems like a strange request but there is a very good reason why Louisiana driver's need to be knocking on their car's hood every morning.

The research focused on all the reported car crashes spanning the years from 2017 to 2021, the study pinpointed Louisiana as one of the top 10 states where teens are most vulnerable to fatal accidents behind the wheel.

According to a study by Forbes Advisor, Louisiana does not fare well for young drivers.
