The Festival of Lights returns to Lafayette’s Oil Center on Dec 5, 2025, with 250+ new holiday lights, a 21+ rooftop party and family fun zone amid trolley rides and Santa’s sleigh.

The iconic shop is moving from the place they've called home for 50 years and will be serving Lafayette from a different venue in late spring 2024.

The concert series includes four mini concert sets at 5 pm, 6 pm, 7 pm, and 8 pm. Admission to the event is free!

With Festival of Lights in the Oil Center not happening this year, people were questioning whether Santa would still be there.

The Oil Center Association Board of Directors has decided to cancel the event for 2019.
