Another sure sign of normalcy, Louisiana's Fairs, and Festivals are announcing dates including dates for the International Rice Festival in Crowley.

The festival board came to the decision after considering information from and guidelines presented by state government.

Did you know that on October 17, 1959, Senator John F. Kennedy and his wife Jackie made a stop in Crowley while on his Presidential campaign? They even rode in the 23rd annual Rice Festival parade!

Louisiana's oldest agricultural celebration, The International Rice Festival, is this weekend in Crowley. Multi-platinum recording artist Joe Diffie will round out the entertainment line-up with a performance on the main stage Saturday night. The best part? It's a free festival!

The Crowley Police Department is asking for your help finding two teenagers that haven't been seen since this past Friday at the Rice Festival. The two girls are believed to be runaways.
