With students being out of school this week for their Easter Break, it has given local governments a great opportunity to get some needed work done on the roads.
After closing earlier this morning (04/13/22) due to an overturned tanker reportedly carrying hazardous materials, I-10 eastbound at I-49 has re-opened.
Whether they happen during the day or night, traffic closures happening across Lafayette Parish and the surrounding areas can affect your travel as you drive across the Hub City and the two major interstates that run across it - Interstate 10 and Interstate 49.
Road construction continues across Lafayette as DOTD and Lafayette Consolidated Government work crews improve the streets we use every day in the Hub City.
There will be daily alternating lane closures from 8 AM to 4 PM on the northbound and southbound lanes of Moss Street between Mudd Avenue and Gloria Switch Road during those days.
