The work will last for about three months.

Beginning tonight (Friday, May 17), I-10 in BOTH DIRECTIONS on the Atchafalaya Basin Bridge from MM 135 (Ramah) to MM 117.5 in St. Martin Parish will have alternating lane and shoulder closures.

The work will get underway at 8 o'clock Wednesday night.

The work will begin each night at 8 o'clock.

Motorists are advised to use I-210 as a detour around Lake Charles while work takes place.

The work is being done between mile markers 135 and 142.

The only that would disrupt the planned work is if the weather doesn't cooperate

The work is expected to last until noon.

The project will start Monday, January 11, and last likely through Thursday, January 14.

They closures are happening so that DOTD can install traffic control devices.

DOTD says there are permit load restrictions of 12 feet in width.

Please be aware that there are multiple road closures and/or projects in the Lafayette and Acadiana areas.

The work is between the area of Guilbeau Road and Dulles Drive.

One lane of Southbound traffic on Camellia will be closed to traffic between the river and Silverstone between today and the next three weeks.

DOTD is asking everyone to proceed with caution in this and other road work areas.

Work will start at 8 p.m. on Wednesday and run through Thursday, April 24 at 6 a.m. weather permitting.

The project will take several days to complete.

Attention drivers and travelers! The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) announced that beginning Friday, July 19, until Saturday, July 20, the I-10 Atchafalaya Basin Bridge will be reduced to one lane in the west and eastbound directions for a moving operation.
