We are just over a month away from the Roots & Boots Tour making a stop in Lafayette. In case you haven't heard, it's Sammy Kershaw, Aaron Tippin, Joe Diffie and special opening guest Blaine Roy & Second Wind.

It's 'A Night of Classic Country' featuring the Roots & Boots Tour - Sammy Kershaw, Joe Diffie and Aaron Tippin!  Blaine Roy & Second Wind will open the night. The show is Thursday, April 19th at Parc International sponsored by Hampton Toyota.

For a couple of years now here on at 97.3 The Dawg you've been hearing a great song from Sammy Kershaw called "Better Than I Used To Be."  The song can be found on Sammy's latest cd of the same name.

The benefit concert for the Boys & Girls Club of Opelousas is finally just about here. We want everyone to come out tonight to enjoy a night of fantastic live music for a great cause. Opening the show around 8:30pm will be Mike Dean followed by Acadiana's own Sammy Kershaw! Doors open at 7:30!
