If you've never seen the classic 1939 film in the theater, your chance is coming up in honor of the 80th anniversary of it's release.

In 1970 the "Land Of Oz" theme park opened in Beach Mountain, North Carolina. It was abandoned from 1980 until 2016, and was pretty much quite creepily still intact until then.

As much as I love "The Wizard Of Oz", I think it's really dangerous to fool around with one of the most beloved films of all time with a prequel. But this looks awesome! Filming has begun on "Oz the Great and Powerful", and it's a star studded cast for sure-James Franco as Oz, Michelle Williams as Glinda the Good Witch, and Mila Kunis as Theodora...
