The Cost Of Motherhood

Last Sunday we celebrated Moms all across Acadiana. Moms do a lot, and they do a lot more that we might not even see because she is too busy taking care of us. But what is the cost of motherhood? If you break it down in dollars and cents it just might knock you off your feet. 

In spite of what we've detailed for you here I don't think there is a Mom alive that would trade any of what she gets from her kids for what we have referenced here. Is it fair, hell no it's not fair, in fact it's wrong what the workplace and society tends to do to ladies in the workforce. Maybe one day corporate America will wake up to the error of its ways, in the mean time I know "Mom" will keep doing what she needs to do, because that is WHO she is.
