UL Football Receives Commitments From Two Texas Stars
The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns received commitments from a couple of prep stars from The Lone Star State over the weekend.
Dabari Hawkins, a cornerback from Stafford High School (Stafford, Texas) and Christian Sabatini, a tight end from Plano High School (Plano, Texas), both issued verbal pledges to Louisiana.
The Advertiser's Tim Buckley alerted us to the offers.
Both will begin their respective senior seasons in the fall, and both are scheduled to graduate next spring.
The 6-foot-2, 185-pound Hawkins was also reportedly offered by such schools as Air Force, New Mexico St., Tulane, and Texas Southern.
The 6-foot-2, 240-pound Sabatini, who also plays defensive end in the prep ranks, was also reportedly offered by such schools as Southern Miss, Marshall, Army, and ULM.
