Peanuts, the cartoon not the tasty snack, is 61 years old. The TV special first hit the air back in 1965, 46 years ago. I still smile every time I hear the Peanuts theme song and if this video is any indication so do a lot of other people. This video absolutely made my day.

I like cartoons, I got my job at the radio station because of the Flintstones, just ask our boss Mike Grimsley, he will tell you. I like animation that has great writing too. I like the Simpson's and Family Guy is pretty interesting in a Frat Party kind of way. Cartoon Network has some great shows that you certainly wouldn't want the kids to watch. I also dig SpongeBob, The Rugrats and even Rocco's Modern Life, but who are animations coolest celebrities?
