10oz Cans of Budweiser, Bud Light and Michelob Ultra Returning to Acadiana
If you love 10oz cans of Budweiser, Bud Light and Michelob Ultra, you've probably had a really hard time finding them anywhere lately, if you've found them at all. Well, it's time to rejoice, because your 10oz prayers have been answered!
Acadiana is one of the few regions in the country that really likes their beer in a 10-oz can. When it comes to the Louisiana heat, a 10oz can be pretty practical because it stays cold for us longer. I mean, it doesn't actually stay colder, it's just less beer so we drink it before it has a chance to get warm...you know what I mean.
Unfortunately, 10oz fans have been out of luck for the last few months because Anheuser-Busch has been unable to produce 10oz cans of Bud Light, Budweiser and Michelob Ultra due to a material shortage.
Charles “Buddy” Schilling II, Vice President of Schilling Distributing says “It’s been tough running with no 10oz cans for the last several months, considering they make up almost 20% of the total volume for our most popular brands.”
However, Schilling says the Calvary is coming y'all!
From the official press release -
"Luckily, the wait is almost over with Schilling Distributing set to start receiving 10oz cans as early as this week. Depending on when the product arrives, shoppers could start seeing them in stores as early as this Friday in some cases."
I don't need to tell you that Mardi Gras and 10oz cans of Bud Light, Budweiser and Michelob Ultra go together like cornflakes and milk, and with Mardi Gras 2021 being a bit lackluster this year, the folks at Schilling have a capital idea.
Charles “Buddy” Schilling II says “We would like to encourage consumers to think a little different this year for Lent. Instead of giving up beer entirely, let’s all give up two ounces per serving and grab a 10oz from the cooler instead of a traditional 12oz!”
Schilling wants to make it interesting for you, giving away prizes and even free 10oz beer for a year.
The hashtag you'll need to win is #2less4lent
As always, Schilling and Anheuser-Busch encourage you to always Drink Responsibly.
