1. Shreveport Municipal Memorial Auditorium - home of the historic Louisiana Hayride radio program
2. Edward Douglass White House - Thibodaux - home to 2 Louisiana governors, a US senator, and Chief Justice of the United States
3. Marksville Prehistoric Indigenous People's Site - 42 acres maintained by the state of Louisiana
4. USS Kidd - Baton Rouge - a museum and now a memorial for Louisiana WWII Veterans
5. Gallier Hall - New Orleans - former city hall known for it's Greek Revival architecture
6. The Cabildo - New Orleans - Home of the Louisiana State Museum
7. Plaquemine Lock State Historic Park - the highest freshwater lift in the world when it was built. Now a museum dedicated to engineering and waterflow
8. Kent Plantation House State Historic Site - Alexandria - built in 1800, it's the oldest historical structure in Central Louisiana
9. Fort Jessup - Many - part of the Louisiana Purchase
10. Longfellow / Evangeline State Historic Site - St Martinville - the oldest state park in Louisiana
11. Mansfield State Historic Site - site of the Battle of Mansfield in 1864
12. Locust Grove State Historic Site - St Francisville - former home to President Jefferson Davis
