We have an update on a story we reported on a couple of weeks ago.

A 15-year-old has been arrested in connection with a shooting that happened at a grocery store earlier this month in Opelousas.

Opelousas Police say the teen was arrested on Tuesday, November 10 in connection with the November 3rd shooting at the Cash Saver store located on Heather Drive in Opelousas.

Two people were injured in the shooting which police say stemmed from an ongoing dispute between the teen's close family member and one of the victims in the shooting.

The second victim was not involved in the dispute and merely an innocent bystander who was in the line of the teen's fire.

The teen was booked with two counts of attempted second-degree murder and is being held pending a formal juvenile hearing.
