2016 Parks Cracklin Cook-Off Set for April 1-2

The 2016 annual Parks Cracklin' Cook-Off is planned for Friday, April 1 and Saturday, April 2 at Cecil Rousseau Poché Memorial Park in Parks.

This family-friendly event is packed with great food, arts & crafts booths, live music, fun jumps for the kids and more.

Friday night's festivities begin with the announcement of the 5th Annual Art Scholarship Winner. Then there's great live entertainment.

The Cook-Off itself begins Saturday morning at 11am with judging at 3pm. On Saturday there will be the Kajun Iron Horse Poker Run, with registration at 8am and first bike out at 10am.
