Forbes came out with their annual list of highest paid YouTube stars, and this year the #1 spot goes to 7 year old Ryan, of Ryan Toys Review. Ryan, who's parents shoot and produce his video reviews, shot up from #8 last year to the top post in 2018, earning him almost $22 million dollars. Million, y'all.

The family run channel began in 2015, when 4 year old Ryan asked his parents if he could review toys, after watching toy review videos on YouTube himself. He was a fan, and now he has surpassed controversial YouTube star Jake Paul in the monetary department.

Ryan has 17 million subscribers, and has amassed over 26 billion views for his videos. He recently signed a contract with Walmart for a toy line called 'Ryan's World'.

According to the Forbes website here is how the list was compiled for 2018: 'All earnings estimates are from June 1, 2017, through June 1, 2018. Figures are pretax; fees for agents, managers and lawyers are not deducted. Earnings estimates are based on data from Captiv8, SocialBlade and Pollstar, as well as interviews with industry insiders.'
