8 Foods That Cure Hangovers
Hangovers are the worst. That's just a fact of life.
You'd think that with all of the technology and advances in science they would have come up with a pill or something to get rid of hangovers by now. Or maybe all the geniuses out there decided that if you're going to drink too much you deserve to suffer the consequence and are keeping the cure under lock and key until we all learn our lesson.
So, I guess until that day get's here we all need to keep taking cold showers, eating greasy food and chugging coffee in hopes that our hangover will magically disappear.
I'm not gonna lie though, I hate coffee, I'd rather not shower than take a cold shower, and I'm not sure how many more Saturday morning McDonald's runs I can make to get that greasy food fix. I'm at the point where I just lie in bed thinking to myself "This is it. This is the moment when a hangover actually kills me. What will my mother say?"
Luckily, BuzzFeed has come to the rescue with their list of 8 Things That Really Stop Hangovers, because at this point I'm starting to get desperate and I will try anything.
For the most part BuzzFeeds list is just a good guideline of what to get at brunch and I consider brunch the ultimate hangover cure so I'm definitely down.
- Asparagus
- Caffeine
- Advil (I know Advil isn't technically a food, but you ingest it so I'll say it counts)
- Cactus
- Bacon sandwich
- Orange juice
- Eggs
- Hummus
There you have it. The closest thing we have to a magical hangover pill is this list right here.
