For Acadiana Symphony Orchestra's 34th Season finale', not only did they bring great entertainment to Acadiana, they also helped make a girl's birthday special.

The season finale' featured vocals from Lafayette native Lauren Daigle and all 3 dates sold out quickly. One Youngsville girl was unable to get tickets, so people took to social media to try to find some for her.

Rylee Landry is an amazing girl - very friendly, always upbeat and positive (her favorite word is "awesome"!), and a HUGE Lauren Daigle fan. One of Rylee's friends, Laura, made a plea on Facebook for tickets so that she could enjoy the show for her 18th birthday.

We saw the post and reached out to Dana Baker, the director of the Acadiana Symphony Orchestra and Conservatory, told her the story, and before we were even finished she said: "whatever you need!".

2 tickets are what we needed, and 2 tickets are what we received.

We then reached out to Blue Dog Cafe on Pinhook, and they said: "whatever you need!".

Dinner for 4 is what we needed (for Rylee, her mom, the caretaker and her husband), and dinner for 4 is what we received!

Then we went on the air to "present" Rylee's mom with the tickets and dinner (it was a surprise), and she was floored.

While we were on the air, we received a message from Luxury Limo of Lafayette: Mike Trammell asked us if we'd like a limousine for the night to help make Rylee's night special. "Well, yes, that'd be great!" was our response!

It all came together so well. I love it when people who can, do.
