Beauregard Parish Sheriff's officials say their investigation into allegations of inappropriate conduct between teachers and students at DeRidder High School has been going on for several weeks.

Sheriff Ricky Moses says his office was contacted and a formal complaint about inappropriate conduct at the school was filed several weeks ago. That complaint was brought to the Sheriff's office by a concerned parent. So far the investigation into that complaint has not brought to light any evidence of wrongdoing.

Beauregard School Board Superintendent Tim Cooley said his office is cooperating with the Sheriff's investigation and as of now, there have been no arrests made. Cooley went on to reiterate that no administrative action against any DeRidder High faculty members has been taken. He also noted that no teachers have been dismissed because of the allegations either.

According to reports an investigation into complaints about student/teacher conduct at the school is ongoing.
