Amy Schumer is still thinking of the two women who lost their lives in the 2015 theater shooting.

After it was revealed that she secretly got married, the comedian had a request earlier today for any friends, fans, or followers who wanted to send her wedding gifts: Give to Everytown for Gun Safety instead.

Everytown for Gun Safety is an anti-gun violence organization and Amy's request comes just a day after 17 innocent people were killed by a gunman at a Parkland, Florida high school.

Back in 2015, Mayci Breaux and Jillian Johnson died in the 2015 theater shooting here in Lafayette while watching a showing of Schumer's movie "Trainwreck." Schumer mentioned them by name in her Instagram post, saying she thought about them "a lot" in the wake of the Parkland school shooting.

Everytown for Gun Safety was formed after the Sandy Hook shooting back in 2012.
