Anglers Invited To Hit The Louisiana Bass Trail
A fishing road trip? Sounds like great Louisiana fun if you ask me. Fishermen across the state and across the world can now make Louisiana a more than one stop fishing destination. They can now hit the official Louisiana Bass Trail and earn some really unique #OnlyLouisiana swag.
The Bass Trail according to Louisiana Travel is made up of seven lakes in eight different state parks. You can sign up now for your BassPort and get all the information to earn trail sanctioned prizes and maybe even a few discounts along the way too.
The participating lakes and parks read like a Who's Who of legendary fish stories. There's the legendary Toledo Bend Reservoir, both north and south parks are included in the trail. There are also the parks at Lake Bistineau, Lake Bruin, Lake Claiborne, and Lake D'Arbonne.
The Louisiana Bass Trail also includes fishing at Jimmie Davis State Park and the highly respected Caney Lake and fishing at Poverty Point Reservoir State Park.
Even if you don't catch a thing you'll be sure to have a great time traveling Louisiana and sharing the experience with family and friends. You can also still be a winner just by securing your BassPort and hitting as many of the sanction sites on the trail as you can this spring and summer. Be Safe, Have Fun, Fish Louisiana!
