The popular PBS television series "Antiques Roadshow" will be filming in Baton Rouge this year.

Producers of the show have announced that they'll be making a stop in the Capital City on Tuesday, May 2. The exact location of filming has yet to be announced but that will be released at a later date.

Five cities are planned as part of the show's filming for Season 28.

“Taking Antiques Roadshow across the country, meeting our event guests and learning about their items each year brings the magic to our episodes,” said executive producer Marsha Bemko. “I am thrilled for the show to return to Baton Rouge 10 years after our last visit and can’t wait to see what local treasures await!”

Below is the complete list of locations the show will be visiting in 2023:

  • Tuesday, May 2 - Baton Rouge, Louisiana
  • Tuesday, May 16 - Raleigh, North Carolina
  • Tuesday, June 6 - Akron, Ohio
  • Tuesday, June 13 - Sturbridge, Massachusetts
  • Tuesday, July 11 - Anchorage, Alaska

At least three episodes will be filmed in Baton Rouge and those will air during the 2024 television season.

How can I be a part of the "Antiques Roadshow" when it visits Baton Rouge?

You can be a part of the filming at no cost, but you will need to apply for tickets. Now through Monday, March 13, you can enter to win one free pair of tickets per household.

Each guest will be able to bring up to two items to be appraised by experts from the country's leading auction houses and independent deals.
