I wonder what it is within us that causes us to be so cruel? Is being mean something we learn or is it just a part of our DNA? No parent wants their child to be picked on, but how far is to far when it comes to stopping the teasing? What do you think? Obviously no one wants this child to be bullied for any reason but life isn't fair and sometimes you have to learn to play the cards you were played. What happened to learning to "being like the duck" and letting  little things just slide off your back? Do we protect our kids too much in this day and age? Are we raising a generation of overly entitled youngsters? I don't know the answers to these questions but I think we need to talk about it before learning how to cope with life becomes obsolete.
