Ashton Dupre and Band Pretend to Go Fishing and Hilarity Ensues

Local country artist Ashton Dupré often posts the hijinks that he and his band get onto social media. Their latest adventure will have your side-splitting.

Ashton posted a video on Facebook on Saturday of he and a couple of guys in the band out on a "fishing trip" before their gig that evening.

And by fishing, we mean they were barbecuing and drinking on the back porch and "re-creating" their magical fishing adventure.

If that doesn't make you laugh, we can't be friends.

While we're not sure what kind of hilarity will ensue tomorrow night at our Holiday Hangover Show when Ashton plays, we're hoping he brings this kind of humor.

He will join Blaine Roy and Kip Sonnier for the opening round of the show on Tuesday night at the Acadiana Center for the Arts.

Headliners are national up-and-coming artists Riley Green, Matt Stell and Gabby Barrett.
