Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner Announce They’re Getting Divorce

Over a month ago we reported that Ben Affleck and Jennifer were heading to Splitsville and now those rumors have turned to reality as the power Hollywood confirmed the news yesterday.

The couple made the following announcement yesterday:

After much thought and careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to divorce. We go forward with love and friendship for one another and a commitment to co-parenting our children whose privacy we ask to be respected during this difficult time. This will be our only comment on this private, family matter. Thank you for understanding.

They just celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary on Monday and have three kids: a 9-year-old daughter named Violet, a 6-year-old daughter named Seraphina, and a 3-year-old son named Samuel.

A source says that they have been in therapy the last two years and even tried a "trial separation" for close to a year.
