Blood Drives Being Held for Comeaux High Student Who Was Shot and Robbed

17-year-old Comeaux High student Mathew Carter remains in serious condition following a robbery this past Saturday (01/18/2020) in which he sustained critical gunshot wounds. To help defray medical costs, his family is asking for blood donations in his name.

In a Facebook post from Mathew's sister Nichole Carter, currently blood donations are being accepted in Mathew Carter's name at Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Building, suite 360, 4809 Ambassador Caffery.

Any and all blood types are being accepted and will help to defray Mathew's medical bills.
