Burt Reynolds Dead at 82
Legendary Hollywood heartthrob Burt Reynolds has passed away at age 82. According to US Weekly, Reynolds had his family by his side when he passed away of a cardiac arrest in Florida early on Thursday morning.
He was famous for his roles in 'Boogie Nights', 'Deliverance', and the 'Smokey and the Bandit' series. He was nominated for an Oscar for 'Boogie Nights', and was set to star in the upcoming Quentin Tarantino film about the Sharon Tate murders, 'Once Upon a Time in Hollywood'. He was to play George Spahn, owner of the Spahn Ranch where the Manson family lived. According to TMZ, he didn't get the chance to film his part before he passed away.
Reynolds was married to Judy Carne, of 'Laugh In' fame, from 1963 to 1965 and Loni Anderson from 1988 to 1993. He shares a son, Quentin Reynolds with Anderson. He was also famous for dating Academy Award winning actress Sally Field for years.
One of the highlights of Reynolds' career might or might not have been the infamous photo in 1972 in Cosmopolitan Magazine of him on a bearskin rug with nothing on at all. Women all over the world swooned...
