Celebrate Earth Day at Vermilionville

Bayou Vermilion District will celebrate Earth Day on Sunday, April 13 from 10:30 a.m. – 4 p.m at Vermilionville, and you are invited to come out and join the festivities! Various local organizations will be on hand to with lectures on how to preserve our beautiful area, and you can also take the family on a brief paddle in Vermilionville's Petit Bayou. There will also be various kids crafts and activity stations available, a cooking school for demonstrations on how to preserve your vegetable garden's harvest, and of course, great music. You even get to take a free tree home with you! Entertainment begins at 10:30, and will run throughout the day. Come celebrate Mother Earth this Sunday at Vermilionville!
