Though today may be the first time many hear her name, Christine Cavanaugh's voice and the characters she helped create are well known to millions. Cavanaugh, the voice actress responsible for Chuckie from the Rugrats, Babe the pig from Babe, and Dexter from Dexter's Lab passed away on December 22. She was 51. The cause of death is unknown.

Cavanaugh voiced many recognizable characters throughout her career on shows like Darkwing Duck, Recess, and 101 Dalmatians, though arguably her most notable work came with the character Chuck from Rugrats and the title characters from Dexter's Lab and Babe. 

Cavanaugh officially retired from voice acting in 2001. According to Wikipedia, she suffered from CML - chronic myelogenous leukemia.
