Cinderella Project Helps Local Girls Get Ready For Prom

UL Lafayette's AmeriCorps is teaming up with the Cinderella Project of Baton Rouge to help make prom dreams a reality. Juniors and Seniors across Acadiana will be able to shop from a selection of prom dresses, shoes and accessories all students have to do is show a valid student I.D. "Last year we gave away over 300 dresses. It's a wonderful feeling to know that we're helping make someone's prom dreams come true," said Lafayette Director Vanessa Adamson.

"If you really need a dress and you can't find the right dress or you don't have the funds to purchase the dress its the perfect opportunity, you never know what you'll find," said Brown.
The dress give-away is March 9th from 9a.m.-4p.m. at the Hilton Garden Inn.
