Clifton Chenier to Get Lifetime Achievement Grammy Award [VIDEO]

Acadiana's own King of Zydeco, Clifton Chenier, will receive the 2014 Lifetime Achievement Award from The Recording Academy at the Grammy Awards on January 26th! Even though Mr Chenier passed away on December 12, 1987, he will join the Beatles, Isley Brothers, Kris Kristofferson, Kraftwerk and Latin singer and pianist Armando Manzanero as inductees this year. Congratulations to all the inductees - we continue to be proud of our own musical genius, Mr Clifton Chenier!
