Corps Of Engineers Flood Maps: Where And When You Can Expect High Water

This whole scenario with the Morganza Spillway, the opening of flood gates and the fact that so many of our friends and neighbors have been sent searching for higher ground really has us all on edge. Here are the latest flood maps released by the Corps of Engineers detailing when and where you can expect high water in the basin. 

If you are one of the many that has been forced to move to higher ground remember you aren't in this by yourself, we are ALL SOUTH LOUISIANA and even if others might think places down stream are more important we know the truth. The truth is we can handle it because we work hard and take care of our own. Katrina proved that "downstream" will be waiting with their hands out regardless.
