Deana Carter to Play in Lafayette, Louisiana in October
Deana Carter, one of the most critically acclaimed country artists of the mid-'90s is coming to Lafayette, Louisiana.
The "Strawberry Wine" singer posted dates for her 2024 Barefoot Again Tour that runs through early next year and our fair town comes up on that schedule for Thursday, October 10, 2024.
There's one problem though -- a venue isn't listed nor any other pertinent information is included.

You'll also notice another Louisiana stop later in the year. She is scheduled for Baton Rouge on Monday, December 9.
That date simply has "TBA" next to it, which, of course, means "to be announced."
We did do some asking around and we have found out that Carter will be in Lafayette for a Boys & Girls Club benefit that's put on each year. Our source tells us that Mark Chesnutt is also playing that gig.
The date of the event is actually going to be October 3, 2024, one week earlier than is posted on Carter's tour dates list.
If we find out that there are tickets available to the general public, we'll pass that along.
