Dennis Quaid’s Wife Kimberly Files for Divorce…Again

Perhaps the second time's a charm. But in this case, it's not a good thing.

On Tuesday, Dennis Quaid's wife Kimberly filed for divorce while the actor was away in Vancouver working on his show The Art of More.

This is the second time Kimberly has filed for divorce. Back in March 2012 she tried calling it quits but decided to give their love a second chance a few months later.

The news shouldn't have blindsided the famed actor though, as the couple have since released a joint statement about their split.

After careful consideration, we have decided to end our 12 year marriage. The decision was made amicably and with mutual respect toward one another.

According to sources, Dennis and Kimberly already have a plan to divide their assets and a plan to share joint custody of their 8-year-old twins.

"We will always remain great friends and devoted partners in raising our children," Quaid concluded.
