  • Janis Joplin 'Me and Bobby McGee' 1971 - originally done by Roger Miller, (and written by Kris Kristofferson) in 1969
  • Whitney Houston 'I Will Always Love You' 1992 - originally written and recorded by Dolly Parton in 1974
  • Vince Gill - 'I Can't Tell You Why' 1993 - originally recorded by the Eagles in 1979. Vince's version was on the 'Common Thread: Songs of the Eagles' record
  • Garth Brooks 'Friends in Low Places' 1990 - originally done by Mark Chesnutt in 1990
  • Conway Twitty / Sam Moore - 'Rainy Night in Georgia' 1993 - originally recorded by Brook Benton in 1970. The last song Conway ever recorded
  • Carrie Underwood 'I Told You So' 2007 - originally recorded by Randy Travis in 1987
  • Patsy Clime 'Crazy' 1961 - originally recorded and written by Willie Nelson in 1961
  • Charley Pride 'Kaw-Liga' 1969 - originally written and recorded by Hank Williams Sr in 1953
