A concert film highlighting the Dixie Chicks' recent world tour will show in theaters across the United States for one night only later this summer. DCX MMXVI -- In Concert is being presented by Fathom Events in August.

The two-hour DCX MMXVI -- In Concert film will screen in theaters on Aug. 7; visit the Fathom Events website to see which theaters are showing the film and get tickets for the event. The website explains that the film will feature "a full set of Dixie Chicks classics ... as well as a special, never-before seen acoustic set."

Launched in Europe in the spring of 2016, the Dixie Chicks' DCX MMXVI World Tour stopped at more than 40 North American venues in the summer and fall of 2016. The trek was the trio's first North American tour in a decade, and nearly 800,000 fans attended at more than 80 dates worldwide. Their setlist featured the band's biggest hits ("Goodbye Earl," "Not Ready to Make Nice," "Wide Open Spaces" and more), as well as a cover of Beyonce's "Daddy Lessons," and fans who couldn't make it to one of the tours stops -- or who want to see it again -- will now get to enjoy the show from the comfort of a move theater seat.

Following their European and North American DCX MMXVI World Tour runs, the Dixie Chicks played some dates in Australia and New Zealand in March and April of this year.
