Dylan Scott is following up his single "Nothing to Do Town" with a new song, "You Got Me," and romantic music video. Only, he's not the leading man in this sweet story.

The music video shows Scott performing the song in a dimly-lit club, but the focus is on a couple who are enjoying a date night on the town, taking in live music and dancing on Nashville's popular Broadway strip. It's not until the end that we find out this couple is not simply infatuated with one another — they've got a new baby at home, and return to gaze lovingly over their bundle while he or she sleeps.

It's the kind of story a new dad like Scott knows well. He and wife Blair welcomed a son, Beckett, in 2017.

The "You Got Me" video was directed by Matt DeLisi and completely shot in Nashville at some of Scott's favorite hidden gems. The song was written by Justin Wilson, Jason Sever and Kyle Fishman, and Scott hand-picked it for his upcoming EP, Nothing to Do Town.

The release drops on April 26 and will feature the single "Nothing to Do Town" and "You Got Me," as well as four other songs Scott co-wrote. More music is on the horizon, too — Scott is expected to release his sophomore full-length album expected later this year, following his 2016 self-titled debut album reached No. 5 on Billboard's Top Country Albums chart.

Scott continues his Nothing to Do Town Tour which kicked off last month to support his upcoming EP. Rising artist Seth Ennis is supporting on all dates.
