Edwin Edwards Hospitalized: Pneumonia

Former Louisiana Governor Edwin W. Edwards has been re-admitted to the hospital.

According to KATC TV3, the former governor is suffering from pneumonia. If you recall, Edwards spent some time in the hospital over this past weekend, complaining of breathing difficulty. According to a family spokesperson, Edwards was tested for both pneumonia and the coronavirus while hospitalized and both tests came back negative.

It is apparent that, since the last hospital stay, the former governor's condition deteriorated to the point of seeking medical attention at a hospital in Baton Rouge.
