Running to Spread Awareness 5k and 1k fun run is set for August 23rd at Scott Park. The run is for Stevens Johnson Syndrome awareness. Registration can be done online at sjslouisiana.com. If you register before August 13th, you will get a free t-shirt. Registration includes a bowl of jambalaya and a drink. Day of registration is from 7:30am-8:30pm. Family fun activities are planned following race including fun jumps and crafts by The Little Paintbrush. There will also be live music from Blaine Roy and Jaryd Lane.
