This is one of those, "why did they do this?" videos for sure. I think the idea is to, uhhhh, put ice cubes into glasses and the old fashioned way just wasn't good enough.

It is a study in physics, planning and plain old boredom if you ask me. It reminds me of the contraptions we used to build when we were kids. The ideas for these machines usually came about after playing a round or two of the game Mousetrap.

It's Rube Goldberg design at its finest and it's done in under two minutes.
