Here's something I've noticed in recent weeks

Drive-Thru lines at various fast-food restaurants are moving slower than ever and I think this may be your "new norm" as many are still looking for workers as we get closer to the end of the COVID pandemic.

Just about every marquee in front of fast-food restaurants reads, "Now Hiring," thus they don't have the number of employees they need to operate or function effectively.

I have gone through fast-food drive-thrus that are known for being quicker than others, but now they are even experiencing delays.

So, I share this with you to warn you about the delays, and please do not take it out on those working the drive-thru lanes. They are doing their best with what they have.

For now, we are going to have to be patient when ordering and waiting for our food at the drive-thru. However, I do think restaurants adjust to fewer employees and find ways to operate with fewer hands on deck.

Until then, continue to support your favorite drive-thru restaurant and if you know of anyone looking for work, many are now hiring.
