Baby names can almost be like a time marker. Certain years and times in history are tied to certain names. If you're a male and were born today, it's very likely your name would be Noah. The folks over at Time.com have put together a little name generator for you to see what your name would be if you were born in a different year.

For example, if I were born in the 1930s, it's quite likely my name would be "Henry" based on name information gathered from that year. If I were born in the 1910s, it looks like my name would be "Ernest". I think I like that one. I may start going by my 1910s name, Ernest.Scott.

Time.com says "name trends are provided by the Social Security Administration. Whenever names were tied for popularity in a given year or decade, they were assigned the same rank. This tool only searches for names of the same gender as what you entered at the top."

Ready to find out what your name would be if you were born in a different time? Head over to time.com and get crackin', whatever your name is...
