A shelter-in-place has been issued in Baytown, Tx due to a fire currently burning at an ExxonMobile plant.

According to abc11.com, the shelter-in-place has been issued for residents who live west of the plant and south of 330.

The fire burning at the Baytown ExxonMobile plant is reportedly in the area of the plant that contains polypropylene material.

Abc11.com reports that this is the second fire within a few months that a fire has broken out at an ExxonMobil plant.

Families have been advised to not try to pick up their kids. Residents have been advised to turn off air conditioning units, close windows, and stay inside and bring any pets inside.
