The Lafayette Fire Department is holding a "diaper drive" to help families in the area.

According to KLFY TV10, the "April Showers" supply drive is collecting much more than just diapers.

The fire department has teamed up with an organization that is dedicated to helping women who are expecting.

The organization is called A Pregnancy Center and Clinic (APCC), and they provide counseling and medical services to pregnant women.

The APCC is a free service, providing a host of services to women who are expecting a child

In addition to counseling services, the APCC has educational resources and free medical services, including pregnancy tests, medical referrals, ultrasounds, and products and supplies pregnant women and new mothers need.

The drive will be held all through the month of April, and you can drop off items to be donated to any Lafayette Fire Department.

The Lafayette Fire Department will accept donations daily from 7 am until 7 pm. Please remember to not park in front of the doors of the fire station so as to not block the fire truck's exit.
