Cold and Flu season has officially arrived. Ugh. Whatever we can do to prevent the onslaught of chills, fever, coughs, and general yuckiness is something I'm always on the look out for.

Nextgov has found some really useful apps to help prevent, and track the flu virus this winter.

  • Sickweather - scans social media sites to determines where the most sick people are. It can even send you an alert if you're about to enter a 'sick zone'
  • Flunearyou.org - over 60,000 people track their flu symptoms every week
  • FluView - from the Centers for Disease Control, offering interactive state maps and prevention

Check out the helpful video below, and be well this winter, my friends!
