The annual New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival is not all about the music. People come from all over the world to head straight to the food booths at Jazz Fest, in between bands, of course.

This year, Jazz Fest will be held on April 25 through May 4th, and the lineup, as usual, is fantastic. But my favorite part about the festival is taking delight in as many traditional Louisiana dishes as possible while I'm at the Fairgrounds!

The general consensus of opinion in my family is that the Crawfish Bread from Panaroma Foods in Marksville is the first 'must have' - second is the Fried Soft Shell Crab Po Boy from Galley Seafood in Metairie. Yum! And no Jazz Fest would be complete without some taffy from Roman Candy.

If you haven't decided what your favorites are yet, check out the entire list of food booths, and get ready for some great eatin' (AND great music!) at Jazz Fest this year!
