Former boxer Tommy Morrison died yesterday. He was only 44 years old. It is not known yet exactly what is the cause of death.

Morrison won the WBO heavyweight championship back in 1993 went he defeated George Foreman. However, you may know him best from his role as Sylvester Stallone's protégé in Rocky 5 in 1990.

Back in 1996, Morrison announced he'd tested positive for HIV, and only fought two more times after that. He later claimed the tests were wrong and that he didn't have the virus, a claim he made until his ultimate death.

Tommy's wife claims he actually had Guillain-Barre Syndrome, which is a disorder of the nervous system.
