About Tyler Childers

33-year-old Childers grew up in Lawrence County, Kentucky, near the West Virginia border. He started singing at his Baptist church as a kid and learned guitar and began writing sons when he was around 13.

His music has been described as a mix of neotraditional country, bluegrass, folk, and honky-tonk.
