Games of Acadiana is August 22 [VIDEO]

Our friends at Miles Perret Cancer Services Center are sponsoring the annual Games of Acadiana on Saturday, August 22 at the Cajundome and Convention Center. Activities will take place from 10:00 am - 4:00 pm, and are free and open to the public! Check out the schedule of events below.

9:00 AM - Cajundome Doors Open

9:00 AM - Survivor "Check-In” Begins (Cajundome Lobby)

10:00 AM - Opening Ceremonies (Cajundome Arena)

(Includes the Survivor Walk, National Anthem, brief prayer, and announcement of honorees!)

Competitive games: Begin after Opening Ceremonies - 3:30pm

Non-competitive games: Begin after Opening Ceremonies - 4:00pm

Survivor Area: 10:00am - 4:00pm (rest area for survivors)

Food: 10:30am - runs out

Bake Sale: 10:00am - runs out

1:00 PM – Survivor Registration Area closes

3:30 PM – Competitive Games end; Medals available at Awards Table

4:00 PM – Games of Acadiana ends
